  March 1, 2017 trip to the trailhead on a beautiful dry Florida morning. Had to drive past the new pipeline project near the parking area. Parking is sufficient; however, there is no clear indication of where the trail starts in the parking area. You must bike a road shared by logging trucks to the entry gate. At the gate there is a map; however, it was plastic covered and severely fogged by heat. Additionally, there were no maps in the enclosure.
  The trail is shared by hikers, bikers, horses and four-wheeled vehicles. Given more sand covering than limerock, the sand is disturbed by horses so is loose. In multiple areas vehicles have created deep ruts that couldn't be ridden through. Vehicles also have severely disturbed any potential solid areas. There were just a few spotty limerock areas; therefore, consider the trail similar to a beach ride.
  There is timbering in the area which creates noise. Trucks are in the forest and access road.
  The areas is beautiful Florida forest land. We did not see the Pruitt origin sign noted in the earlier review. The terrain is dry forested. No animals were seen; however, the sandy trail produced many tracks of prior 4 legged travelers. I suspect the timbering noise and pipeline confusion has suppressed animal activity. Given much surface improvement efforts, and separating biking trails from horse trails/vehicle trails this could make a beautiful area to visit. The trail is significantly more primitive than several other Greenways trails we have ridden; consequently, the trail condition does make it a private ride.
